Martinsville Mayor Robert Lovell, Chamber of Commerce President Sheila Cribelar, members of the City Council, and several residents gathered to celebrate the official grand opening of the City’s new pickleball and basketball courts.

These exciting new recreational additions were made possible through funding awarded by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) as part of the Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant program and support from the citizens of Martinsville. The project reflects Martinsville’s continued commitment to enhancing local parks and providing quality recreational opportunities for residents of all ages.
The courts are now open to the public and available for use. Residents are encouraged to visit the newly completed area and enjoy the latest improvements to our city’s recreational facilities.
