Public Announcement: Water Meter Replacement Update

Since September, the City of Martinsville has been actively working on replacing water meters throughout the community. During this process, some customers may have noticed that last month’s bill only reflected two weeks of water usage instead of the typical full month. This was due to the timing of the new meter installation.

As a result, these customers will receive a bill for six weeks of water usage on the next billing cycle, which will account for the two-week adjustment.

We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely thank everyone for their patience and understanding. The water meter replacements should be complete by the end of this month.

These new water meters will ultimately help the city save time and money, ensuring more efficient service for all residents.
