The City of Martinsville's Street Department is in charge of the maintenance of the streets and disposal of brush from streets and public ways.

Trash pick is included in utility charges for Martinsville residents. Pickup is curbside on each Tuesday.

Recycling

The City of Martinsville has recently opened a recycling drop-off container at the wastewater plant located south of the railroad tracks on York St. Drop-off hours are 8:00am - 3:30pm on Monday-Friday.
