Martinsville, Illinois

Founded in 1833, Martinsville is located in rich, agricultural Clark County. Nestled along the Old National Road (today Rt 40), Martinsville is primarily a farming community, but we also have small manufacturing plants, among other growing businesses. Located right along I-70, Martinsville gives central access to travel between Indianapolis and St. Louis, making it an ideal location for new businesses.

$ CLARK COUNTY CASH MOB $

CASHMOB logoredrawn3inchesONE

WHAT IS A CASH MOB? A cash mob is a variant of a flash mob. Flash mobs have called hundreds of people together to perform “spontaneous” acts, such as dancing or kissing. By the same token, cash mobs use social media sites to draw customers to support a local business. Over the next several months we will be releasing cash mob information.  Be on the lookout for one to come to your community!

Week of July 28th….GET YOUR CLARK COUNTY CASH MOB ON…THOUGHT OF THE WEEK… Cash mobbers take a stand to support local business – to support those businesses that have served them and their families for decades in many cases. Most cash mobs plan to meet on a particular day, with each participant agreeing to spend a specified amount (usually around $20).
