Martinsville, Illinois

Founded in 1833, Martinsville is located in rich, agricultural Clark County. Nestled along the Old National Road (today Rt 40), Martinsville is primarily a farming community, but we also have small manufacturing plants, among other growing businesses. Located right along I-70, Martinsville gives central access to travel between Indianapolis and St. Louis, making it an ideal location for new businesses.

Our new state-of-the-art high school opened its doors in 2011, and we are proud to have added a new church building for the First Baptist Church to our community in 2011 as well. We are working hard to continue to improve our community and meet our residents’ needs! We look forward to your visit.

Martinsville, it’s small, it’s friendly, it’s home and WE ARE GROWING!
